Bronx, NY - The Wagner men's water polo team (10-9; 5-2 MAWPC) fell to Fordham 14-10 on Wednesday night, in a close matchup including back and forth play throughout.

Despite a six goal performance from sophomore driver Jasmin Kolasinac, the Seahawks fell 14-10.

The Rams jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first period, before Kolasinac found back to back goals for the Green & White to tie it up at 2-2.

Fordham scored another goal before senior goalie Cameron Woldt denied a five meter penalty shot from entering the cage.

Freshman utility Vuk Bulajic knots the score again at 3-3 before the sound of the horn concludes the first stanza.

Kolasinac scored his third goal of the game before Fordham answered with two more goals, putting the Rams ahead by one at 5-4 with 5:06 left in the second period.

With his fourth score of the game, put Wagner within one for a brief moment. However, the Rams found the back of the net once more before the end of the first half.

Junior driver Matthew Miller struck with his first goal of the game to pull the Green & White within one.

Quick back and forth goals, two from Fordham and two more from Kolasinac set the scene with a score of 9-8 with just a few minutes left in the third quarter.

Junior utility Lachlan Trabinger registered his first tally of the game, following a Ram goal, leaving the score at 10-9 at the end of three stanzas.

Woldt opened the fourth and final period with his second save against a Fordham five meter penalty shot.

The Rams found the back of the net two more times before Miller notched his second goal of the game with the score at 13-10 in favor of Fordham.

One last insurance goal for Fordham helped to secure the win with a final score of 14-10 in the Rams' favor.

In spite of the loss, Woldt posted 10 blocked shots and one steal.

Wagner is back in action on Friday, October 19 as the Seahawks travel west to take on Stanford at 7:00 p.m. (PST).
