Boston, MA - The Wagner men's water polo team (9-7; 3-2 MAWPC) fell to No. 17 Bucknell 10-8, before defeating Iona for the second time in three days, 19-5.

No. 17 Bucknell 10, No. 20 Wagner 8:
The Bison jumped out to an early lead, notching three goals in the first eight minutes of play as the Seahawks were able to notch one.

The Green & White trailed Bucknell 6-2 at the halfway point, with two quarters left to try and make a comeback.

Offensively, Wagner was led by freshman utility Vuk Bulajic, sophomore driver Jasmin Kolasinac and junior utility Lachlan Trabinger, each of whom found the back of the net twice throughout the game.

To start the third stanza, the Seahawks fired off four goals to the Bisons' three, but Wagner still trailed 9-6 and needed a strong start to the fourth and final period in order to defeat Bucknell.

Despite a two-goal surge in the fourth, the Bison were able to hold onto the lead, adding one final insurance goal and defeating the Green & White with a final score of 10-8.

Senior goalie Cameron Woldt saved nine shots and grabbed two steals in the loss.

No. 20 Wagner 19, Iona 5:

The trio of senior driver Teo Dadic, Bulajic and senior utility Devin O'Donnell gave the Seahawks a 3-0 lead to open the first period.

Dadic and O'Donnell combined for back to back goals to open the second stanza, answered by the first Gael goal of the game.

Sophomore driver Jordi Alonso found the back of the net shortly after, making the score 6-1 in favor of Wagner.

A goal from senior driver Cole Grady followed by Iona's second of the match, set the score at 7-3. Bulajic, Dadic, and Kolasinac extended the lead before the end of the first half with a score of 10-3.

O'Donnell and Kolasinac scored one goal apiece in the third, followed by an Iona goal, as the score was 15-4 before the start of the final quarter.

Iona was the first to strike in the fourth stanza, before one Dadic goal and three in a row for Alonso, adding the finishing touch and a final score of 19-5.

Woldt added 10 saves in the win.
