Three innings later, the Green & White struck again. Sabido led off with a single to right field and advanced to second on a wild pitch. A walk to junior RF

Taubl came in and got Pecora to fly out to right and forced Cala out at second, which moved Sabido over to third. On the first pitch he saw from Taubl, D'Amore laced a single through the left side, scoring Sabido and giving the Seahawks a 2-0 lead.
Wagner and Sacred Heart traded zeros until the bottom of the ninth. Bowley was able to get Stephen Thibault to pop up on the first pitch he saw for the first out. Bowley gave up back-to-back base hits, giving the Pioneers a chance to win it in the frame.
