Staten Island, NY – After three consecutive road games, the defending Northeast Conference (NEC) champion Wagner women's lacrosse team returns to the friendly confines of Hameline Field to host Albany of the America East Conference in a 3:00 p.m. matchup on Thursday.
The Seahawks, who lost 10 players to graduation from last year's championship team, are seeking their first win of the 2017 season, entering Thursday's play at 0-4.
The Great Danes, meanwhile, are 2-3 on the season and have played well against top competition, most notably in a February 27 contest where they battled No. 5 Syracuse to the wire on the road before falling 13-12. Albany has also played No. 2 North Carolina, having dropped a 14-5 decision to the Tar Heels on March 3.

Kelsey Fee (White Plains, NY / White Plains / Ithaca College) and
Lucy Darlington (Timonium, MD / Notre Dame Preparatory) have shared the goalkeeping duties for the Green & White.
