Philadelphia, PA – The Wagner women's lacrosse team dropped a 13-8 decision at Saint Joseph's University of the Atlantic 10 Conference this afternoon, despite a hat trick from sophomore attacker
Anna Belle Reilly (Paradise Valley, AZ / Notre Dame Prep) and two goals from sophomore midfielder
Marjorie Dehm (Baldwinsville, NY / C.W. Baker / Vermont).
With the loss, the Seahawks fall to 2-7 on the season while the Hawks even their season mark at 4-4.
After falling behind by a 7-3 count at halftime, Wagner opened the second half on a 4-2 run in closing the deficit to two goals at 9-7 midway through the second half. But SJU responded with a 4-1 spurt to end the game en route to the 13-8 win.
For Reilly, who leads the team with 25 points (18g, 7a), the three-goal outburst was one shy of her career high (4g vs. Iona, 2/15) and marked the fourth time this season that she has scored three or more goals in a game.
Dehm, Wagner's fourth-leading scorer with 19 points (10g, 9a), recorded her fourth multi-goal game of the season, two shy of her career high of four (vs. Saint Mary's (CA), 3/13). Dehm added an assist to tie Reilly for team-high honors in points with three in addition to coming up with a team-high four caused turnovers.

Heidi Colford (Eden Praire, MN / Eden Praire), Wagner's leading distributor on the year with 12, added two points on one goal and one assist.
Freshman midfielder
Talia Bouzakis (Mullica Hill, NJ / Clearview) continues to produce, notching one goal, as the South Jersey native found the net for the third straight game.
In goal, junior
Kelsey Fee (White Plains, NY / White Plains) recorded a career-high 17 saves for the Seahawks in easily bettering her previous career high of nine, which she had accomplished two times - at Syracuse (2/21/16) and at Lehigh (3/4/17).
SJU's Ali Gormley led all scorers with five points on four goals and one assist, while Hope Anhut and Bridge Cercello added three and two goals, respectively. Goalie Amelia Deibler registered 13 saves for the Hawks.
The Green & White close out their non-conference slate with a contest at Columbia on Wednesday, March 29 with opening draw between the Seahawks and Lions is set for 6:00 p.m.
