Coming off of a breakout junior season, April Simmons will look to continue to be a spark in the Seahawk midfield unit in 2018.
 
2017: Saw action in all 19 games with 18 starts … Totaled 18 points on the season with 11 goals and 7 assists … Recorded a career-high three goals vs. Saint Mary’s of California (3/16) … Collected 20 groundballs, with a career-high of three coming vs. LIU Brooklyn (4/23) … Earned seven draw controls with two vs. Saint Francis U (4/7) and vs. Bryant (5/7) … Also added three caused turnovers.
 
2016: Saw action in 13 games for the 2016 NEC Champions … Tallied four points on the season on the strength of three goals and one assist … Had two points on one goal and one assist vs. Saint Francis U (5/13).

2015: Appeared in 13 games for the Green & White, starting in three contests … Recorded nine ground balls, five draw controls and four caused turnovers … Registered four points on three goals and one assist … Scored her first collegiate goal in her debut vs. Bucknell (2/10).

Before Wagner:  Named 2014 & 2013 All-Southern Connecticut Conference First Team … 2014 & 2013 Connecticut All State Second Team … 2014 All-Area Honors while also garnering her Team Offensive MVP award … Named to the 2013 Super Junior Team … 2012 All-SCC Second Team Honors … Served as captain of both her lacrosse and cross country teams … CAPT Scholar … Involved in her school serving as the Vice President of her class … Daughter of Kevin and Trisha Simmons … Has two siblings, Paige and Kendall.
