Watch / Live Stats

Jacksonville, FL –
The Wagner women's lacrosse team will be looking for its third straight win on Saturday when the Seahawks meet Jacksonville in a 1:00 p.m. clash that can be seen on ESPN3.com.

The 2-5 Seahawks picked up their first win of the season at home on March 13 by a 16-13 count over Saint Mary's (CA) before making it two straight with a 17-12 win at Stetson on Thursday night. The Dolphins enter Saturday's play with a 2-4 record, having dropped a 13-5 decision to Stony Brook on Monday.

The Seahawks are led offensively by junior midfielder Lauren Ednie (Verona, NJ / Verona) and junior attacker Heidi Colford (Eden Praire, MN / Eden Praire), who have scored 21 points each on the season. Ednie's 21 points have come on a team-high 16 goals along with five assists while Colford checks in with 10 goals and a team-high 11 assists.

In the win over Stetson, Ednie tallied a career-high four goals, to go with two assists, while Colford is coming off a two-goal, career-high six assist outing vs. the Hatters. Sophomore attacker Anna Belle Reilly (Paradise Valley, AZ / Notre Dame Prep) is third on the team with 20 points (14 goals, 6 assists), while sophomore midfielder Marjorie Dehm (Baldwinsville, NY / C.W. Baker / Vermont) checks in with 16 points (13 g, 3a).

Senior co-captain and two-time All-NEC performer, Amanda Rey (Turnserville, NJ / Washington Township), heads the Seahawk defense and is the team-leader in groundballs (23), draw controls (17) and caused turnovers (15).

Jacksonville went 13-5 last season and a perfect 8-0 in ASUN Conference play and the Dolphins have won 24 consecutive ASUN regular season games. JU paces the ASUN and is eighth nationally with 12.17 caused-turnovers-per-game. Danielle Della Rocca, the ASUN's all-time leader in goals and points, eclipsed the 200-point plateau in Monday's game while Rachel Aus needs six points to reach 100 for her career

Saturday will be just the second meeting between the programs, with the first taking place on March 19, 2014 when JU won 13-8 at home. Della Rocca scored a hat trick and Aus scored a pair.
