Greenville, IL – Wagner will deliver a brand new game-day atmosphere during the 2017-2018 men's and women's basketball seasons with the addition of a new Nevco Video Display Scoreboard inside the Spiro Sports Center.
Seahawk fans can experience the new scoreboard for the first time at Saturday's doubleheader. At 11:30 a.m., the Wagner women's team will make its 2017-18 debut at the Spiro Sports Center when Green & White host the University of New Hampshire Wildcats. The Wagner-UNH women's game will be followed at 2:00 p.m. when the Seahawk men's team hosts American University.
This revolutionary new addition now proudly hanging in the Spiro Center was made possible by a donation from
Douglas Matthius (WC' 72), who passed away on June 30, 2016.
Thanks to Matthius' generosity, Seahawk men's & women's basketball fans will now be able to enjoy a 15' wide full color Nevco 6mm LED Video Display that will enhance the indoor viewing experience by displaying crowd pleasing fan prompts, live game action, and endless sponsorship spots, delivering a game-changing way to watch Wagner basketball and other on-campus events.
Stretching the sidelines at center court are 30' of state-of-the-art Nevco LED Scorers Tables, which house virtually limitless LED digital inventory space. The tables, along with the main display, are equipped with Nevco's exclusive Display DirectorTM Software to manage game-day operations.

To further enhance its game-day experience, Wagner also collaborated with HYPE Creative Services, a division of Nevco, to create a custom Seahawk basketball shuffle game to engage fans during breaks from play.
