Joseph Abbatiello (Fredericksburg, VA/ Stafford) and sophomore
Jonathan Besselink (Kingston, Ontario/ Holy Cross Catholic Secondary) represented the Wagner cross country program at 2017 NCAA Division I Northeast Regional Championship, hosted by the University of Buffalo on Friday morning.
Bell, who was competing in her third career NCAA Regional meet, crossed the finish line with a time of 24:33.3 in the 6K event.
For both Besselink and Abbatiello, this was their second NCAA Northeast Regional. In today's 8K race, Besselink shaved off close to 13 seconds off his time at last season's performance as he checked in with a time of 34:33.7. Abbatiello clocked in with a time of 34:59.6.
