Boston / Cambridge, MA – The Wagner men's water polo team will travel north to Massachusetts to compete this weekend at the Harvard Invite on October 14 and 15.

On Saturday, October 14, the Seahawks will square off against No. 18 Bucknell University Bison at 9:30 a.m. before concluding the day with a 2:15 p.m. matchup with the No. 12-ranked St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers.

On the final day of the two-day invitational, Wagner and No. 11 Princeton University will meet at 3:30 p.m.

Trio Of Seahawks Earn MAWPC Weekly Honor Roll Accolades
The Seahawks, who are now 9-7 overall and 3-2 in MAWPC action, had three student-athletes garner inclusion on this week's MAWPC Weekly Honor Roll.

Freshman Jasmin Kolasinac (Belgrade, Serbia / Kings College) was named to the Player of the Week Honor Roll after netting seven goals, dishing out three assists, drawing eight exclusions and swiping five steals over the past two games.  As of October 13, he leads the conference with an astounding 60 goals while being ranked second on the National Leaderboard, trailing only California Baptist's, Jonny Lotero, by two goals (62).

Fellow newcomer Jack Leighton (Lake Forest, CA / El Toro) was tabbed to the MAWPC Rookie of the Week honor roll after tallying four goals on five attempts while winning two sprints against Bucknell back on October 7.

In his two matchups against nationally-ranked opponents, Princeton and Bucknell, junior goalkeeper Cameron Woldt (San Diego, CA / Serra High School [San Diego Mesa College]) earned a spot on the Defensive Player of the Week Honor Roll after recording 16 blocks and posting four steals. On the season, Woldt ranks second in the MAWPC with 78 saves.

A Look At Bucknell
The Green & White will look to even the season series with the No.18 Bison (10-6) after falling last Saturday, 11-7, despite holding a two-goal lead at the half.  Bucknell has won nine straight contests en route to remaining undefeated in MAWPC play with a 6-0 mark.  The Bison are led by Rade Joksimovic, who is leading the MAWPC in points per game at 4.22. Goalie Charlie Niehaus ranks among the top-five in the circuit in total saves, registering 52 for the year.

Scouting St. Francis Brooklyn
The No. 12 Terriers (7-5) are in the midst of a seven-game winning streak after most recently defeating No. 11 ranked, Princeton, 13-10, on Wednesday at home. St. Francis Brooklyn remains undefeated in the Northeast Water Polo Conference (NWPC) at 5-0 after starting the season with five straight non-conference losses.

Previewing Princeton
The last time the Seahawks and the No. 11 Tigers (14-4) met was back on October 4, with Princeton coming away with a 15-11 win.  The Tigers will look to rebound after seeing their six-game win streak halted on October 11 to the No.12-ranked St. Francis Brooklyn Terriers, falling 13-10 in Brooklyn Heights, NY.  On the season, Princeton is led by Jordan Colina and Sean Duncan, who have combined to net 88 goals, with Colina leading the way with 47 tallies. Goalkeeper Vojislav Mitrovic has been strong in the cage, totaling 188 saves in his graduate campaign.

Up Next For Wagner
Following this weekend's invitational, the Seahawks will head up to the Bronx to tangle with the Fordham University Rams on Wednesday, October 18. The match is set for a 7:30 p.m. swim-off.
