Jasmine Nwajei (Rockaway Park, NY/Murry Bergtraum), who averages 28.9 ppg. and 2,015 career points scored, the Wagner women's basketball team hosts Robert Morris in a 1:00 p.m. tip on Saturday which will as the sqaud's Senior Day.

Tessa Wade (Penn Valley, PA/Lower Merion) will be honored. Nwajei, who eclipsed the 2,000-point mark on Monday night at Fairleigh Dickson during a 33-point outing will also be recognized.
A tenacious performer and arguably the top defensive player on the team, Hamlet has seen action in all 26 games this season and has gained the starting assignment in the last 22 contests. She recorded a career-high 14 points back on December 9 in the victory over Lafayette and pulled down a career-high 11 rebounds in the January 26 win over St. Francis Brooklyn. Hamlet is a Sociology major with a 3.3 GPA.
This dynamic lefty-shooting backcourt standout became the 14th-leading scorer in Wagner history with 1,243 career points earlier this season before being sidelined with injury. Her top performance this season came on November 22 at 7th-ranked Ohio St. With a large gathering of family members and friends on hand who made the trip to Peck's "Homecoming " game, she tossed in 22 points vs. the Buckeyes that day. A member of the 2013 All-NEC Freshman team, she has topped the 20-point mark 25 times in her career, highlighted by a personal-best 31-point game vs. Columbia on December 30, 2015, which was the day she joined the Seahawk 1,000-point club. Peck is an An Art major with a 3.4 GPA.
Wade has seen action in 22 games and has been in the starting lineup for the last nine games. In her career, she has played in 84 games for the Seahawks with 17 starts. On February 6 vs. Fairleigh Dickinson right here at the Spiro Sports Center, Wade knocked down a career-high four three-point baskets in recording a career-high 12 points. Wade owns a 3.3 GPA while majoring in Business Administration.

Nwajei Continues to Blaze
During her 33-point game at FDU last time out, Jasmine Nwajei became the first player in Northeast Conference (NEC) history to reach the 2,000-point career mark, and grabbed a career-high 13 rebounds. The injury-riddled Seahawks, who played just seven players in the game, were looking for their second straight win following Saturday's 64-63 triumph at Central Connecticut, fell to 3-13 in the NEC and 5-22 overall with two games remaining. Nwajei, who entered the game 18 points shy of 2,000, hit for 17 first-half points as FDU held a slim 28-26 lead at the intermission. A breakaway layup by Nwajei with 6:54 left in the third quarter off a throw-ahead pass by senior guard Jazmine Hamlet (New York, NY/Francis Lewis) gave the 5-8 guard her 2,000th career point while putting Wagner on top, 32-31.The milestone bucket was part of a 15-6 run, which by a Hamlet layup, that gave the Seahawks their biggest lead of the game, a seven-point 41-34 advantage with 4:34 left in the quarter which led to an FDU timeout. After pouring in 40 points on Saturday at Central Connecticut, including the game-winning layup with 1.7 seconds to play, Nwajei was 10-of-24 from the floor vs. FDU and 12-of-18 form the free throw line, while adding the career-high 13 boards, five assists and four steals. The 6-2 Roma delivered a 12-point, 11-rebound effort in posting her team-leading fifth double-double of the season.
