Boston, MA - Wagner improved to 8-7 on the season after two wins in the final day of the MAAC/CWPA Crossover. The Seahawks topped Bucknell 13-5 in the morning game, before beating George Washington 17-5 in the early afternoon contest.

Jessica Burdge scored five goals and
Jess Lundgren had three goals and five assists to send Wagner past Bucknell in the third game of the MAAC/CWPA Crossover.
Lundgren (Queensland, Australia / Mountain Creek) scored the first goal of the game for the Seahawks off of an assist from
Megan Rodriguez (Danville, CA / San Ramon Valley). The duo reversed roles on the second Wagner goal in the first quarter, ending the frame up 2-1 on the Bison.
In the second quarter, Lundgren added another goal and assisted on a
Lily Doerfler (Annapolis, MD / Broadneck) goal, while Burdge (Stockton, CA / St. Mary's) also scored giving Wagner a 5-2 lead going into the half.
The Green and White kept rolling in the second half, scoring three goals in the third quarter and five in the fourth, while the defense and goalie
Emily Riddle (Edmonton, Alberta / Dr. E.P. Scarlett) only allowed three second half goals from Bucknell. Riddle ended the game with four saves, while the five goals allowed were the lowest of the season for the Seahawks.
Wagner vs George Washington
In the second contest of the day, Wagner faced off with George Washington for the third time this season. The Seahawks stayed perfect against the Colonials on the year with a 17-8 victory.
Lundgren again led the way for Wagner, scoring a career-high eight goals in the win. The sophomore made her mark in the second quarter, scoring five of the seven Wagner goals in the period, while adding two assists to Rodriguez and Burdge.
Burdge ended the game with three goals while Rodriguez had two.
Sidney Hoshko (Coronado, CA / Coronado), Doerfler, and
Gabryel Oloapu (Auckland, New Zealand / Diocesan) all had one goal each for Wagner, with Oloapu's being the first of her collegiate career.
The Seahawks have next weekend off, then will return to action on the weekend of March 8-9, when they head to the Harvard Invitational.
