ReultsFlushing Meadow, NY - The freshman tandem of
Michal Rolski (Kielczow, Poland / Oak Meadow, VT) and
Ryan Khan (Weston, FL / University School) wrapped up their play at the
2014 USTA/ITA Northeast Regional Championships, Sunday October 19.
Rolski and Khan lost singles matches in the consolation bracket to competitors from Yale. Rolski lost to senior Daniel Faierman 6-2, 7-5, dropping his second match to an Ivy League competitor in as many days.
Khan fell to Yale freshman Stefan Doehler 6-0, 4-6, 10-7 in a tight contest. Khan started slow but transformed his play in the second and third set to a new level before ultimately losing.
Rolski advanced to the second round of the competition defeating Saint Peter's junior Carlos Carrera before suffering a close loss to Harvard senior Denis Nguyen sending him to the consolation bracket.
Khan fell in the qualifying round of competition to Marist junior Fredik Bjerke, he then went on to gain two victories in the consolation bracket defeating Monmouth sophomore Christian Vieria and Fairleigh Dickinson sophomore Gonzalo Quintana
