Philadelphia, PA - In a meet loaded with events, the Wagner Men's Track & Field team managed to break a school record in the distance medley relay at the Penn Relays. Wagner's 9:59.23 placed the team third out of 14 in the heat.

Daniel Zaccariello (Staten Island, NY / St. Joseph's By The Sea) ran the opening 1200 leg of the race, then handed off to Darius Moulton (Brisbane, Australia / St. Josephs Gregory Terrace) for the 400. Michael Baio (Staten Island, NY / St. Joseph's By The Sea) then ran the third leg, 800 followed by the anchoring mile of Zachary Spector (Yaphank, NY / Longwood).

Next week, the NEC Outdoor Championships will begin on Saturday, May 4, continuing to the following day, Sunday, May 5. Both the Men's and Women's teams will travel to West Long Branch, NJ to compete at host Monmouth University.
