Wagner Hosts LIU Brooklyn On Senior Day At 3:00 PM

Staten Island, NY – The Wagner College women's lacrosse team will play its season finale today when the Seahawks host the Blackbirds of LIU Brooklyn at 3:00 pm on Senior Day.

Today's game marks the ninth meeting between the schools and Wagner owns an all-time record of 7-1 vs. the Blackbirds.
 
The Seahawks enter today's contest in search of its sixth win of the season, coming in with an overall record of 5-11 and a Northeast Conference (NEC) mark of 1-7. LIU Brooklyn enters today's action with a record 0-15 and the Blackbirds are 0-8 in the NEC.
 
The Seahawk women's lacrosse program will honors it three graduating seniors, Erika Bulken (Baldwinsville, NY/ C.W. Baker), Jillian Maloney (Mahopac, NY/ Mahopac) and Annie O'Connor (Syracuse, NY/ Westhill), in a pre-game ceremony.
 
Bulken has been a productive leader on the Seahawk attack throughout her career. In 2013, she has served as a Seahawk captain for the second straight season. As a junior in 2012, she won a school-record 83 draw controls, which computed to 4.9 per game, a figure that led led the NEC and ranked No. 8 in the nation. For her career, Bulken has played in 48 games, scoring 29 goals and assisting on 40 other while her 149 draw controls rank second in the all-time Seahawk record book.
 
Maloney, arrived on Grymes Hill four years ago from the Westchester County township of Mahopac, NY where she was a three-sport athlete, competing  on the lacrosse, winter track and soccer teams. During her Seahawk career, she has seen action in 40 games for the Green & White, netting 11 goals along the way. O'Connor hit the ground running right from the start of her career, scoring 16 goals as a freshman and hasn't stopped since. This season, O'Connor has posted career highs in goals, with 22, and in assists, with 12. For her career, has tallied 56 goals and 18 assists, giving her a career point total of 74. She has has also scooped up 32 ground balls, collected 25 draw controls while recording 19 caused turnovers
