RESULTS
Mahwah, NJ – The Men's 4x800 relay team was victorious on the day as the Men and Women's Track and Field teams competed at the METS Championships. The Wagner Men finished in sixth place with 48 points, and the Women finished eighth with 46 points in the meet.

Daniel Zaccariello,
Timothy Mendez, and
James Naglieri comprised the winning 4x800 team that crossed the finish line in 7:50.50. Although the time was a little over one second slower than the season best 7:48.97 ran at last week's Coloniel Relays, the quartet bested the field by over 3.5 seconds.
Wagner also received a second place finish on the Women's side, when sophomore
Nicole Cooper had an outdoor career-best in the triple jump. Cooper leaped 11.40 meters (37'4.75”) which provided eight points for the Women.
Here were the rest of the top finishes on the day for Wagner:
Samantha Jensen finished third in the 100 hurdles at 14.47 seconds.
Zaccariello finished third in the 1500 meters at 3:57.26.
Skylar Johnson cleared 4.45 meters (14'7.25”) in the pole vault for third place.
Emily Pereira ran a season best in the 800 meters at 2:16.99 for fourth place.
Kelly Dennis crossed the line in fourth place during the 3000 steeplechase, in a season best time of 11:58.30.
Matthew Kane scored a fourth place finish in the high jump, clearing 1.94 meters (6'4.38”).
Saquan Mitchell ran a season best in the 100 meters in 10.95 seconds, for fifth place.
Alan Kopeloff took fifth in the 110 hurdles, crossing the line in 15.36 seconds.
Darius Moulton ran his fastest outdoor 800 meter run of his career, finishing in sixth place at 1:56.00.
Morgan Kaisershot took seventh in the 400 hurdles, crossing the line in 1:07.77.
The Seahawks return to action this upcoming Wednesday, April 17
th, in the second and final home meet of the season, the Wagner Quad.
