West Long Branch, NJ – The Wagner College women's lacrosse team will meet Monmouth in its second Northeast Conference (NEC) road tilt today at 1:00 pm.

The Green & White feature three players who are tied for the team lead in goal with 15 in sophomore Jessica Mills (Vernon, NJ/ Vernon Township), senior Annie O'Connor (Syracuse, NY/ Westhill), and freshman Casey McCarthy (Albany, NY/ Bethlehem Central). With 23 assists to go with her 15 goals, Mills is the team-leader in points with 38. O'Connor and McCarthy are second and third in points with 22 and 17, respectively.

McCarthy leads the Seahawks with 20 draw controls while fellow freshman Kimmy Tumolo (Mullica Hill, NJ/ Clearview) paces Wagner in ground balls with 14. In goal, yet another freshman, Katie Ferraro (Owings Mill, MD/ McDonogh) sports a 10.46 goals against average while recording 58 saves.

The Seahawks are coming off a 9-6 loss at Mount St. Mary's on Friday in a game that saw Wagner fall behind 7-1 before a furious rally fell short. The Seahawks have dropped four straight and enter this contest with a 4-5 record, 0-1 in the NEC. Monmouth is 3-6 overall but the Hawks are coming off a 17-4 win over winless LIU Brooklyn on Friday.
