Wagner Faces Robert Morris In Saturday NEC Tilt

The Seahawks take to the road for a Saturday afternoon game against NEC foe Robert Morris at the Sewall Center in Moon Township, PA. Wagner is looking to get back on track following a loss to Sacred Heart at Spiro Sports Center on Monday night. Senior Marie-Laurence Archambault tallied a team-high 16 points in the game, while sophomore Stephanie Blais added 10.

Wagner is led offensively by freshman Jordyn Peck at 11.2 ppg, with Archambault and Blais right behind at 10.4 and 10.3 ppg, respectively. Senior Veronick Fournier leads the Seahawks in rebounding with 5.9 rpg, while sophomore Jacqui Thompson has recorded a team-best 3.9 apg.

Scouting The Colonials
Robert Morris split last weekend in Brooklyn, having defeated LIU Brooklyn on Saturday before falling in double overtime to St. Francis Brooklyn on Monday. In Monday's game, Colonials junior Artemis Spanou posted an impressive double-double, tallying 18 points and 20 rebounds.

Spanou leads the Colonials and is second in the NEC with 18.3 ppg. The junior from Greece has pulled down an NEC-best 14.9 rpg. French freshman Lou Mataly is also in double-figures in scoring for Robert Morris at 10.1 ppg. Assists among the Colonials have been evenly distributed, with no player averaging at least 3.0 apg.

Saturday's meeting is the 54th in the all-time series between the Seahawks and Colonials, with Wagner holding a 29-24 lead in the series. Robert Morris took the lone meeting between the two schools last year, a 55-38 victory for the Colonials at Spiro Sports Center.
