New Britain, CT - The Wagner College women's basketball team will conclude the 2011-12 season with a two-game New England road trip, beginning with a meeting vs. the Central Connecticut St. Blue Devils on Saturday, February 25 at 1:00 pm.

This is the first game of a doubleheader as the Wagner men's team will meet CCSU at 3:30 p.m. The season finale for the Seahawk women takes place on Monday, February 27 at Bryant in a 7:00 pm. tip.

The Seahawks have been led all season by 6-3 senior center Kelly Clark (Neptune, NJ/ St. Rose) who averages a team-best 14.1 points per game (9th-NEC) and 7.8 rebounds per game (6th-NEC) and has climbed into 19th place on the Seahawk all-time scoring list with 1,103 career points. Her 182 career blocks rank her second in Seahawk history behind only Ali Ridge (2004-08) who recorded 201 career blocks.

Wagner's second-leading scorer, 6-0 forward Marie-Laurence Archambault (Montreal, Quebec, Montmorency) checks in at 7.9 points per game and has been on a tear of late, averaging 13.3 points in her last three games with a team-high16-point outing vs. Fairleigh Dickinson last time out on Monday. Like Clark, Archambault's name also appears in the Seahawk record book as she now ranks fifth all-time in both three-pointers made (165) and attempted (463).

Prior to the Wagner-FDU game on Monday, a Senior Night Ceremony was held in honor of Clark, 6-0 forward Brittney Thorpe (Newport News, VA/ Heritage) and 5-11 guard Kanifa Hicks (Paterson, NJ/ Passaic Tech).

The Seahawks, who dropped a 66-62 decision to the Knights after leading by 13 points early in the second half, fell to 2-25, 1-15 in the NEC. Wagner has now lost 20 straight games. The Blue Devils enter the game with an overall mark of 11-16, 5-11 in the NEC. These met on Staten Island back on January 14 with Central Connecticut St. coming away with a 69-57 win.
