Tyrik Miller will be recognized for their time on Grymes Hill. There will be a moment of silence before the game for RJ Tillman. On Sunday night, Tillman, who was a graduate student in the school of nursing, was killed in a hit-and-run accident. Additionally, the RJ Tillman Scholarship has been set up in his memory, and donations will be accepted during the game in the lobby of the Spiro Sports Center.

* A win over FDU would guarantee the Green & White of no worse than a second place finish in the league while matching the 2007-2008 team's school-record of 23 victories.
* With a victory, Wagner would also match the 2002-2003 NEC Championship squad for the best-ever league start at 14-2.
* The Seahawks have won seven-straight and 15-of-16 since losing a one-point decision to Lehigh on December 10th. One more win will also give the Green & White its second eight-game winning streak of the season.
* Before this season, the last time Wagner had won eight games in a row was when the Seahawks claimed 16-straight victories during the 1978-1979 season.
* According to Friday's NCAA Rankings, Murray leads the NCAA in three-point percentage, converting on 51.2 percent from long range. The Canadian native is averaging 2.5 triples per game and was an impressive 5-for-10 from long range en route to a game-high 20 points in the Green & White's 74-67 win over MU (2/16).
* In four previous games against the Hawks, Murray had hit on just 3-for-20 (.150) from deep.
* Wagner has also won six of its last seven meetings with Monmouth while placing five players in double-figures for just the third time this season.
* Martin helped close out the Hawks, hitting a floater before draining eight-straight from the line, en route to accounting for 10 of the final 14 Seahawk points.
* Martin is a perfect 16-for-16 over the last five minutes of games decided by 10 points or less while helping the Green & White post a 9-3 record during that time.
*Martin has hit for doubles figures in each of the last two games after failing to do so once in the previous 12 games and is now just 13 away from becoming the 39th member of the Seahawks' 1,000-point club. In the team's 17-point win over the Mount (2/11), Martin moved past Wagner Hall of Famer

Marcus Burton. The North Carolina native has now converted seven of his last 14 three-point attempts from long range after making good on just one of his first 21.

Jonathon Williams (11). Rivers is averaging a team-best 14.7 points per game while notching double-figures in 21-of-26 and has 797 points over two seasons on Grymes Hill. Williams is averaging a team-best 15.1 points per game in home games while converting 57.7 percent (64-111) from the floor.
* The trio of Rivers (14.7 ppg), Williams (12.9 ppg) and Murray (12.6 ppg) have accounted for 54.7 percent (1032/1887) for the team's offense.
* At least one member of the triumvirate has led or tied for the lead in scoring in all but one game this season; Hofstra (Martin).

* Murray has now hit for at least 20 points on 12 occasions over the last two years and three times this season. He has also notched double-figures in 57-of-63 since the end of his sophomore season.
* His single-season percentage (.512) and his career mark (.442) would set school-records if the season were to end today. His 180 career three pointers also rank eighth in school annals. In the win at Sacred Heart (1/26), Murray drained a career-best seven threes en route to a season-best 21 points.
* Wagner was tabbed 23rd in the College Insider Mid-Major Top-25 poll and has been in the rankings in each of the last eight weeks.
* The Seahawks have 11 true road victories, tying them with Iona and Harvard for the NCAA lead. The 11 road wins are also a school-record and have helped contribute to a 12-2 mark away from the Spiro Sports Center. The Green & White are also in the midst of a school-record nine-game winning streak away from Staten Island, last losing at LIU Brooklyn on December 1.
* Wagner set a NEC record as the fastest member institution to 20 wins with a 59-44 victory at the Mount on February 8th, besting last year's Blackbird squad that won its 20th on February 12, 2011.
* The Seahawks have now won 20 games or more six times in school history, including four times in the D-I era, in this the 91st year of intercollegiate basketball on Grymes Hill.
* Wagner was the first team in the Metropolitan New York City area to notch 20 victories and lead all NYC schools with 22 wins.
* With LIU Brooklyn and Robert Morris' winning on Thursday, the NEC now has three teams with 20 victories for the second time in the history of the league.

Dan Hurley holds a 35-21 career record in this second year with Wagner and is the second-fastest coach in school history to 30 wins.

* Did you know? Wagner has a NEC-leading 14 double-digit wins this year, including 10 during league play, which are also the second most in the school's Division I era (1976-1977). The school-record for double-figure victories is 17, which was notched by the 1978-1979 squad that went 21-7.

* The Green & White have guaranteed that they will finish among the top half of the NEC Playoff Field for just the ninth time in Wagner's 31-year affiliation with the NEC. The Seahawks have been the No. 1 seed just once, the No. 2 seed three times and the No. 4 seed four times.
* In Wagner's current seven-game winning streak the Seahawks are winning by average of 12.6 points per game while holding the opposition to just 56.4 points each time out and limiting them to just 39.2 percent (141-360) shooting, including 21.0 percent (21-100) from long range. Using a total-team effort, 10 players are averaging more than 11 minutes per game while eight are averaging between four 4.3 and 13.6 points per game.

* Wagner is riding a four-game home winning streak and are an impressive 10-2 this season at the Spiro Sports Center while posting a + 12.8 scoring margin.

Kenneth Ortiz turned in a solid performance against the Mount last week, averaging 7.0 points, 6.0 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game while posting a 4.0 assist to turnover ratio. However, the most impressive stat may be the fact that Ortiz was the team's leading rebounder in each game, and has done so a team-best 10 times with the Green & White going 10-0 during that time.
* Wagner is 8-0 when playing before a
Time Warner audience this season and will play on
TWC today and in the First Round of the NEC Tournament. In those games, the Seahawks are winning by an average of 17.6 points per game while limiting the opposition to just 39.4 percent from the floor, including 27.3 percent from long range. Williams leads the team in scoring (16.0 ppg) and rebounding (4.9 rpg) during that time while shooting 60.9 percent (42-69) from the floor and 50.0 percent (9-18) from long range.
* Wagner has forced Sacred Heart (54), Quinnipiac (50), St. Francis (NY) (50) and Mount St. Mary's (44) to their lowest single-game point totals during league play.
* Since losing to Lehigh on December 10th, the Seahawks are an outstanding 15-1, winning 10 of those games by double-figures while posting a +10.7 point differential. During that time, Rivers is averaging a team-best 15.8 points per game while shooting 39.4 percent (39-99) from long range and 88.7 percent (55-62) from the line. Williams (12.4 ppg) and Murray (12.1 ppg) are each also averaging double-figures while Ortiz checks in with averages of 7.1 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists each time out.
* With its 74-67 victory over Monmouth (2/16), Wagner is 9-3 in games decided by 10 points or less, including going 4-2 in games decided by five points or fewer. Over the last two years,
Dan Hurley's teams are 15-9 in five-point games.
* The Seahawks' 51 points scored in a one-point win at Quinnipiac (1/28) were the fewest scored in a Wagner win since a 51-48 victory over Robert Morris on February 6, 1993.
* Wagner held high-scoring Monmouth guard Jesse Steele to just 13 points on 4-of-17 shooting (2-11 3pt) since allowing him to score 17 points on a perfect 7-for-7 performance from the floor in the first half back on January 7th.
* The Seahawks are 5-0 in the month of February and with wins in each of the last three regular season games would record their first undefeated month in 32 years when the Green & White went 8-0 in the month of ... February.
* Wagner leads the NEC and ranks ninth in the nation in winning percentage (.840), while also pacing the league in in turnover margin (+3.7) (14th NCAA), free throw percentage (.758) (18th NCAA), scoring margin (+10.1) (34th NCAA), three point percentage (.375) (49th NEC), scoring defense (62.5) (67th NCAA), blocked shots (4.2) (78th NCAA), fewest turnovers (13.2) (130th NCAA), and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.0) (158th NCAA). The Seahawks are also second in the league in three point percentage defense (.306) (37th NCAA), field goal percentage defense (.403) (51st NCAA) and scoring offense (72.6 ppg) (73rd NCAA). Additionally, the Green & White are among the top-100 in the NCAA in steals (7.6) (79th NCAA).

Bobby Hurley was recently named as one of the 35 greatest McDonald's All-Americans in the 35-year history of the game. Joining the former Duke All-American on the list were his former teammates Christian Laettner and Grant Hill. Hurley helped the Blue Devils to a pair of National Titles and three Final Fours.
* Wagner has won two-straight and six-of-eight against FDU, but trail the all-time series by a 49-42 count. In the team's first meeting, Williams led the way with 23, on 11-of-14 from the line, while Rivers added 19 points.
* The Knights are led by sophomore Melquan Bolding, who is averaging 14.4 points per game while Louisville transfer George Goode checks in with 13.0 points and a team-high 7.4 rebounds per game. In the team's first meeting, Goode matched Williams with 23 points while pulling down a game-high nine rebounds. Bolding added 13 points and five rebounds but was just 4-of-12 from the floor.

Naofall Folahan was extremely efficient vs. Monmouth (2/16) with seven points, six boards and two blocks. Folahan, who is 55th nationally with a NEC-best 1.9 blocks per game has been a defensive force all season in the paint.
