FINAL RESULTS
Lincroft, NJ - Led by senior
Zachary Spector (Yaphank, NY / Longwood) the Wagner men's cross country team placed fourth out of nine teams at the 6K Monmouth University XC Kick-Off. Spector finished sixth in a team-best 19:01.2 and was the second Northeast Conference (NEC) runner to cross the finish line.

Albany won the team title as the Great Danes finished with 17 points and were followed by the host Hawks (76 points). St. Francis (NY) was third with 96 points as Wagner was fourth with 105 points. Saint Francis (PA) placed fifth with 130 points, followed by LIU (177), Seton Hall (187), NYU (196) and Drew (231).
Senior
Thomas Iannacone (Havertown, PA / St. Joe's Prep) was the second Seahawk to cross the line, finishing 13th in 19:44.0. Sophomore
Daniel Zaccariello (Staten Island, NY / St. Joseph By The Sea) was close behind Iannacone, crossing the line 16th in 19:47.7.
Rounding out the scorers for the Green & White were freshman
James Naglieri (Stony Point, NY / North Rockland) and classmate
Timothy Mendez (West Haverstraw, NY / North Rockland) as the former prep teammates placed 38th in 20:19.2 and 64th in 21:08.0, respectively.
Wagner returns to action on Saturday, September 17 when the Seahawks participate in the 8K Monmouth Invitational.
