Lewisburg, PA – Wagner stands at 1-1 overall after splitting two games on Saturday against Mercyhurst and Bucknell. The Seahawks started off the 2011 season with a 10-8 overtime victory against Mercyhurst then fell to the hosting Bison 11-4.
GAME ONE: Wagner vs. Mercyhurst

Chris Radmonovich era with a thrilling 10-8 overtime victory in the 2011 lidlifter at the Bucknell Invitational. Juniors
Chelsea Beck (Reading, PA / Wilson) and
Lauren French (Colmar, PA / North Penn) led the Seahawks with three goals each.
Senior attack
Natalie Pyrz (Harleysville, PA / Souderton Area) added two goals for the Green and White as junior
Becca Hannings (Lansdale, PA / North Penn) and senior
Laura Vanderbent (Shillington, PA / Governor Mifflin) each found the back of the net once.
Laura Karbach (Abington, PA / Germantown Academy) earned the win over the Lakers with 10 saves.
GAME TWO: Wagner vs. Bucknell
Coming off an exciting victory earlier in the day, Wagner faced-off against Bucknell in tough fought battle. In their home pool, the Bison tallied eleven goals and held Wagner to just four.
Junior
Chelsea Beck (Reading, PA / Wilson) had all four goals for Wagner while accumulating a career-high five steals.
Lauren French (Colmar, PA / North Penn) drew four exclusions while looking to beat her 2010 career-high of 79 as senior co-captain
Carina Giles (Mohton, PA / Governor Mifflin) tied her personal-best game-high with three steals.
Wagner will take on Claremont and Gannon tomorrow afternoon to finish out the second day of the Bucknell Invitational.
