Riverdale, NY – Eight different swimmers earned first place finishes for the Wagner College swimming and diving team, who sailed past Hunter College, 84-11, and Manhattan College 67-28 over the weekend. The two victories bump the Seahawks overall dual record to 7-1, already accumulating the most team wins since the 2006-2007 season.

Wagner's relay teams also proved to be a dominating force, as the Seahawks four-swimmer groups won both the 200 medley and the 200 free.
"This meet gave us the opportunity to put together a very different line-up, allowing people to get a chance to swim some events that they normally would not,” said head coach
Colin Shannahan. “I saw a lot of things I liked tonight and am excited about our event flexibility going forward."
The Seahawks have a three-week break before their next competition, when they head to the ECAC Open Swimming & Diving Championships on December 2.
