ChampionsGate, FL- The Wagner College women's golf team concluded its spring season with a ninth-place finish last weekend in the Northeast Conference (NEC) Women's Golf Championships at the ChampionsGate Golf Course.
Taking first-place in the competition was Fairleigh Dickinson with a three-day total of 964 (330/318/316). In second, was Long Island with a 967 (318/321/328), followed by Robert Morris in third with 975 (334/312/329).
Freshman
Miko Page (Brooklyn, NY / Edward R Murrow) led the Green & White wit a 15th place finish. Page carded a three-day total of 252 (88/77/87). Junior
Dena Smith (Highland Heights, OH / Beaumont) notched 38th place with rounds of 94/90/89 (273) while freshman
Keri Muse (Sterling, VA / Dominion) and sophomore
Kaitlin Osmundsen (Staten Island, NY / Tottenville) tied for 39th with a 276. Rounding out the pack for the Seahawks was junior
Caitlin Etienne (Richfield, MN / Richfield) with a 43rd place finish in the 48-player field.
With the completion of the NEC Championships, Wagner concludes its spring 2010 season.
