New York, NY –
Sophomore Derek Schultz (Ocean Port, NJ/Shore Regional) ran the 200 meter dash in 22.42 to claim Wagner College's top spot in the record books. His finish beat the previous mark of 22.70 set one year ago. Schultz's record setting time earned him 13th place in the event.

Freshman Thomas Iannacone (Havertown, PA/St. Joe's Prep) had another strong showing. His 4:30.64 finish in the mile run is the Seahawks' second-best mark this season.

Derek Rammelkamp (Miller Place, NY/Miller Place) provided another high point for the men finishing the 3000 meter run in 8:57.48.  His personal best mark is the ninth best in the NEC so far.

The men also had success in the relay events. In the 4x400 the team finished 22nd with a season-best time of 3:26.94. They also performed well in the distance medley relay, finishing eighth overall with time of 10:38.50. That mark is also a new season-best.
