"I feel like we made some significant strides as a team. I thought our two captains performed well in both the 1000 and 500.” Said Wagner head coach Mark Sowa, “We were in a lot of close races and fought hard to get our hands on the wall. I feel like our freshmen are learning pretty quickly and they appear to be a pretty tough group. I thought Jakki and Mary racing the 200 fly with a lot of heart and resolve was what we want our team to be about. Hopefully we take some of the lessons learned here and continue to apply them day in and day out in training."

The Seahawks (0-1) return to the pool on Saturday, November 1 in a tri-meet with host Saint Peter's and Manhattan College.
