Over the first four games of 2015-16, sophomore guard Corey Henson has spearheaded the offense for the Seahawks, who stand at 2-2 on the young season. In the season opener at Big East member, St. John's back on November 13, Henson tossed in 16 points on 6-15 shooting from the floor, while converting on 4-of-8 from the outside. On Nov. 15, in Wagner's second-straight matchup against a Big East school at Seton Hall, Henson dropped 17 points on 7-of-15 from the floor while corralling four rebounds, three steals and two assists in 33 minutes of play. In the home opener against Maine on Nov, 21, Henson continued his torrid stretch, going for a career-high 24 points, 17 of which coming in the second half of play.  He also dished out a career-high seven helpers while going a perfect 11-of-11 from the free-throw line in 34 minutes of action. As of 11/30, Henson ranks sixth in the Northeast Conference (NEC) in scoring at 16.5 ppg and assists at 3.7 per contest. Out of 34 sophomores in the conference, Henson ranks fourth in scoring, first in assists.
