Wagner College Athletics

Samantha Jensen is the Wagner College Walsh Electrical Contracting Women's Student-Athlete of the Month for October.  A two-time Northeast Conference (NEC) Player of the Week honoree during the month, Jensen scored three goals in Wagner’s 4-3 double-overtime win over Bryant (10/25), knocking the ball between the pipes in both halves, before tallying the game-winner in the 104^th minute of play. The speedy forward began the month with her first career hat trick in propelling the Seahawks to a 5-3 win over Sacred Heart (10/4) and followed that effort with a Wagner’s lone goal in 2-1 loss to Saint Francis U (10/6). Jensen’s nine goals are tops on the team and rank second overall in the NEC.
