Junior Ian Miller batted a team-best .351 (27-of-77) with 16 stolen bases, 15 RBI, 12 runs and seven multi-hit games while recording at least one hit in 17 of the Wagner’s 19 games in the month on March. Miller ended the month on a 11-game hitting streak, during which the Keystone State native is hitting .442. He began his big March by going 3-for-5 with two runs, two stolen bases and a RBI at Richmond (3/1), before hitting safely in each of the final two games against the Spiders (3/2-3/3). Miller followed that up with four steals over three games at Norfolk State (3/9-3/10). Playing in front of his family and friends in Pennsylvania at the Big Five Baseball Bash (3/15-3/17), he hit .385 (5-for-13) with a pair of multi-hit games, three runs, three RBI and three stolen bases. Miller then helped the Seahawks to a split of their NEC-opening weekend series against 2x defending champion Sacred Heart (3/22-3/24), batting safely in all four games while finishing up at .357 (5-for-14). He capped his big month with a monster weekend in helping Wagner register the first three-game non-conference series sweep sweep in school history against Saint Peter’s (3/28; 3/30). Miller hit a team-best .667 (8-of-12) with seven RBI and three runs while reaching base at a .692 clip. He opened the series with a pair of pair of hits in the Seahawks’ 1-0 game-one win, before registering a personal-best matching four hits and a career-high five RBI in the Grene & White’s 13-0 game-two romp. Miller finished out the series by going 2-for-3 with two infield hits, two runs and two RBI. On the year, Miller is now hitting .333 (30-for-90) with a team-best 18 stolen bases, 16 RBI, 13 runs and eight multi-hit games.
