Curry made a tremendous impact in her first month with the Seahawks, garnering all three NEC Diver of the Week awards handed out so far for the 2012-2013 season. The Orange County native picked up the first win of her collegiate career during Oct. 13’s meet at Vermont, as her score of 202.12 captured the 3-meter dive for the Seahawks. Curry finished second in the 1-meter dive against the Catamounts, recording a score of 205.05. On Oct. 20, Curry recorded a score of 206.55 on the 1-meter board, defeating Kate Dwyer of Central Connecticut by over 15 points at the CCSU Diving Invitational. On the 3-meter board, Curry defeated the Blue Devils' Jessica Goldman by 17 points, posting a score of 206.85. It was the second consecutive week Curry had won on the 3-meter board, as she won at Vermont]. In the final week of the month, Curry posted a career-high score of 241.20 on the 3-meter board at Rutgers, then followed it up the next day by winning on the 3-meter board with a score of 200.80 in a meet at Iona. She finished second on the 1-meter board that day, recording a score of 177.05.
