Freshman Mallory Lee (Neward, CA / Moreau Catholic)
Freshman diver Mallory Lee (Newark, CA/Moreau Catholic) earns her second Student-Athlete of the Month accolade after posting a stellar month for the Wagner diving team.
Lee competed in two meets in January, picking up a first-place sweep of the one and three meter boards against the University of Rhode Island, before taking two second-place finishes the following weekend against Northeast Conference (NEC) rival Central Connecticut State. For her performance against URI, the California native was named the NEC diver of the week for an unprecedented fifth time this season, as she has continued to dominate the boards, having finished in the top half of the standings in every event she’s competed.Â
Lee and the rest of the Wagner swimming & diving team will be back in action next at the NEC Championships beginning on February 23.
