Senior Jess Lundgren (Queensland, Australia / Mountain Creek) of the water polo team has been named the Walsh Electric Women’s Student-Athlete of the Month for April after leading the Seahawks to their third consecutive Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championship as she scored seven goals in the semifinal and title games combined en route to earning MVP honors. The dynamic, playmaking center totaled an astounding 87 points over a 12-game span, connecting on 64 goals while dishing out 23 assists on her way to being named the MAAC's Offensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.
