Biography
Sophomore Season (2009-2010): Finished the season by receiving Second-Team All NEC honors through her contribution in Wagner’s 200 freestyle relay ... was also a member of the Seahawks’ Third-Team All-NEC 400 freestyle relay team ... ended her season ranked among the top-eight in the NEC’s Championship results in the 50 freestyle.
Freshman Season (2008-2009): Finished with the third fastest time in the 200 backstroke (2:11.89) produced at the NEC Championships … ranked fourth on the team in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:01.71 (NEC Championships) … was a member of the 200 individual medley relay event that finished second with a time of 2:12.21 at the NEC Championships.
Before Wagner: Attended Hamden High School in Hamden, CT … swam four years on varsity under coach Nina Lujak … helped her team complete a 12-1 overall record her junior year … as captain of her team, she garnered team MVP and Most Promising Sophomore honors … a member of the YMCA team in Hamden-North-Haven.
Personal: Daughter of Greg and Carole Meyer … has a brother, Mike.
