2012-2013 Video Highlights

Stephanie Blais
enjoyed a breakout sophomore season where she consistently delivered productive performances on a game in and game out basis. The mobile 6-2 forward possesses a diversified offensive skill set that allows her to score from both in the paint and on the perimeter. A physical presence in the post on both ends of the floor, in 2013-2014 she has a chance to be mentioned among the elite players in the Northeast Conference.

2012-13 Sophomore Season: Started in 24 of the Seahawk’s 29 games … Averaged 10.5 points and 2.6 rebounds per game … Scored double figures in 15 games, including a career high 24 points to lead the Seahawks to victory at LIU Brooklyn (1/14) … Pulled down a career high eight boards vs. Iona (12/1) … Recorded 14 points and five steals, while dishing out a career-high six assists vs. St. Francis Brooklyn (1/12) … Shot 8-of-13 from the field, going 4-of-7 from beyond the arc, on her way to scoring 20 points against Lehigh (11/23).

2011-12 Freshman: Appeared in all 29 games for the Seahawks, starting in one contest, at Central Connecticut (2/25) … Averaged 3.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 11.7 minutes per game … Averaged 4.9 points per game in NEC play … Posted career-highs in points (14), rebounds (7), three-pointers made (4) and minutes played (29) at Quinnipiac (1/28) … Contributed 13 points and six rebounds at Central Connecticut (2/25) … Tallied 11 points against Central Connecticut (1/14) … Scored nine points in games against New Hampshire (12/21), LIU Brooklyn (1/23) and Robert Morris (2/4).

Scholastic/Personal:
Played for Coach Guillaume Giroux at the College of Montmorency in Laval, Quebec, Canada where she was a teammate of current Seahawks Marie-Laurence Archambault and Veronick Fournier at Montmorency. As a senior, she helped lead Montmorency to a perfect 25-0 record en route the national and state championships. A versatile performer, she averaged 11 points and six rebounds per game during her junior season. Blais displayed an ability to score in the low post as well as on the perimeter and added further polish to her game by competing on the Montmorency Nomades Club Team.
