Jennifer Wendler

Jennifer Wendler joined the Wagner College Sports Performance Department in June 2024 as a Sports Performance graduate assistant.

Following the completion of her MBA at Wagner, Wendler was promoted to Assistant Sports Performance Coach in the summer of 2026.

A 2024 graduate of Youngstown State University, Wendler earned her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science while maintaining a perfect 4.0 grade-point average.

Wendler was a four-year member of the Youngstown State women’s basketball team and helped the Penguins capture the 2021-22 Horizon League Regular Season Championship. Following an injury, she transitioned into a strength and conditioning internship at Youngstown State, where she worked with multiple programs, including football, track & field, women’s golf and tennis. In her role, Wendler assisted with football training groups and guided injured student-athletes through rehabilitation lifts.

During her year and a half as an intern, Wendler also worked on football game days, assisting with pregame warmups and sideline operations.
