Wagner College Athletics

Gianna Solomon arrived on Grymes Hill in September 2020 as Wagner College’s new Sports Performance Graduate Assistant. Solomon comes to Wagner from Penn State as a 2019 graduate where she spent time interning within the strength & conditioning department. 

During her time with the Nittany Lions, she worked with the men’s volleyball team while helping to create the training regimen.

In addition to her duties at Wagner, she also serves as the strength and conditioning intern for Northeast Rugby Academy, where she assists in implementing training regimens for the U18 and U23 men’s and women’s teams.

From 2016 until 2019, Solomon was the assistant rugby coach for the State College Area School District. She worked with the youth girl’s program with an emphasis on fitness and unit skills.

An All-American rugby player before completing her degree in Kinesiology, Solomon currently plays in the Women's Premier League for the New York Rugby Club. 

In addition to her duties, Solomon is pursuing a degree in Media Management.
