2022-23 (Freshman Season): Appeared in 21 games while earning two starts. Tallied a career-high 26 minutes played against St. John's on December 21. Also earned a career-high seven points and eight rebounds. against Saint Francis U on January 2. Mpondo notched a career-high two blocks against Brown on November 13.
Before Wagner: She helped lead La Chataigneraie to three straight Swiss championships (2018, 2019, 2020)... In addition to playing basketball, she also competed in the long jump, winning a gold medal… Played for Club Natacio Sabadell in Spain… At the 2021 FIBA U18 Women’s European Challengers, she averaged 7.8 points per game and 8.8 rebounds a contest over the course of five games while logging 25.9 minutes a contest for Switzerland… Against Albania, she finished with a double-double, scoring 18 points and grabbing 14 rebounds while hitting on 9 of 14 from the field… She also dished out three assists, had two steals and a block… In the next game against Slovenia, she corralled 11 rebounds, seven coming on the defensive glass… Has been a member of the National Swiss team since she was 15 and has already participated in four European Championships.
