2012-2013 Video Highlights
Laura Amorosa is a veteran who offers experience and stability to the Seahawk program as the lone senior on youth-laden 12-member roster in 2013-2014. She has quietly improved her game in all facets during each of her three previous seasons on Grymes Hill.
2012-13 Junior Season: Started in 24 of the 29 games she appeared in for the Seahawks … Averaged 3.8 points and 3.3 rebounds per game … Set career highs in points (11) against Monmouth (1/7) … Enjoyed a productive performance in the St. Joseph’s Hawks Classic where she led Wagner in rebounding in both games … In the first round game vs. UMBC (12/28), she grabbed a career-high seven rebounds to go with seven points … Shot 4-of-7 from the field in 26 minutes, scoring nine points against Fairfield (12/29) in the second round … For the two games, Amorosa averaged 8.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and her efforts were rewarded when she was named to the All-Tournament Team … Recorded career-high four steals in a victory at LIU Brooklyn (1/14) and later matched the mark against Mount St. Mary’s (2/12).
2011-12 Sophomore Season: Appeared in 16 games for the Seahawks, starting in two contests, against LIU Brooklyn (1/23) and Bryant (2/27) … Averaged 2.1 points and 1.5 rebounds per game … Set career-highs in points (11), made field goals (4), and minutes played (24) at Bryant (2/27) … Matched career-highs in steals (2) and rebounds (4) during the contest … Had four points and three rebounds at Monmouth (1/7) … Contributed five points and a career-high three assists in 13 minutes off the bench at ACC foe Virginia (12/28) … Matched her career-high with three assists at St. Francis (NY) (1/21) … Grabbed a career-high four rebounds against Central Connecticut (1/14).
2010-11 Freshman Season
