Jasmine Brunson joined the Wagner College women's basketball staff as the Director of Basketball Operations in August 2023.
A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Brunson appeared in 122 games while making 70 starts. The Queens, NY native started 55 out of 59 over her last two seasons at Minnesota. As a junior during the 2018-19 season, Brunson averaged 8.4 points per game, 2.7 assists per game and 2.5 rebounds per game. As a senior, Brunson tallied 9.8 points per game, 3.0 assists per game and 2.5 rebounds per game.
A two-time captain, Brunson was named Minnesota's 2020 All-Big Ten Sportsmanship Award honoree twice. During her senior season, Brunson led the Big Ten in free throw percentage during conference play with a .875 mark. In the classroom, Brunson was an Academic All-Big Ten honoree twice.
Brunson received a Bachelor of Science in Business and Marketing Education from the University of Minnesota.
Prior to her time at Minnesota, Brunson played at The Mary Louis Academic from 2014 to 2016. She was named to the Tablets Division I Girls All-Star First Team in 2016 and was named to the All-USA New York Girls basketball Second Team in 2015 and 2016. She was also named to the Tablet's All-Star Team in 2015 and was named to the Times Ledger All-Queens First Team.
