Sabrina Tebou, a former Loyola Marymount standout, enters her third season as the Wagner softball team's assistant coach.
Primarily playing second base, Tebou secured 68 hits in her four-year career for the Lions, including 11 home runs and 17 doubles. She also tallied 45 RBI, 35 runs, 69 assists and 152 putouts. During her senior season in 2018, she posted career highs in hits (39), home runs (7), doubles (8), RBI (22), and put outs (65).
Tebou guided LMU to an NISC Championship as a senior and finished her career in style, earning a spot on the NISC Colorado Regional All-Tournament Team. She launched a grand slam in the NISC opener vs. Northern Colorado to help LMU earn a 7-4 comeback victory in the bottom of the sixth.
Following her successful collegiate career, the Tucson, Arizona native signed as a free agent by the E1 Pro Ballers of the American Softball Association.
At Wagner, Tebou will work with the Seahawk hitters, including All-NEC selections
Karen Prihoda and
Hannah Lewis.
As a team, the Green and White picked up three wins in its final five games of 2018, including a sweep over Robert Morris on Senior Day.
Tebou holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and will also pursue a Master's Degree in Business Administration during her time at Wagner.
