Jayme Cone enters her second year with the Seahawks' softball program and will also serve as an Academics and Compliance Assistant in her second year on Grymes Hill.
In her first year at Wagner, Cone worked with Wagner's pitchers on a day-to-day basis after a successful career as a pitcher at George Washington University.
In 2019, Cone returned to action after missing the 2018 season due to injury and helped the Colonials to 44 wins and a share of their first Atlantic 10 title. Making 17 appearances on the season, Cone went 3-0 with a career-best 3.54 ERA over 27 2/3 innings.
Throughout her collegiate career, the California native tossed five complete games and earned seven victories while striking out 56 batters in 123.2 innings.
Apart from her duties, Cone will be pursuing her Master's Degree in Business Administration while at Wagner.
