Wagner College head softball coach has announced the hiring of former Saint Mary's standout Jayda Alaan as the Seahawks' new assistant softball coach.
Alaan played four years at Saint Mary's, earning All-WCC honors following her senior season in 2021.
The Diamond Bar, CA native appeared in 144 games for the Gaels, earning 138 starts and contributing 77 hits along with a .332 career on-base percentage.
Defensively, the utility player was involved in seven defensive double plays as a graduate student in 2022, tied for the most of any Gaels defender.
Alaan holds a Bachelor's Degree in communications and a Master's Degree in Management and Technology from Saint Mary's.
