Emma Sturdivant finished her second season as assistant softball coach in 2022.

Amelia Van Orman earned All-NEC First Team honors as a utility player,
Zoe Bender garnered Second Team honors, and freshman
Keaghan Ward was named to the All-Rookie Team at season's end.
Sturdivant was Chattanooga’s Female Student-Athlete of the Year in 2018 and a two-time All-Southern Conference selection.
Primarily at first base, Sturdivant appeared in 168 games with 162 starts throughout her collegiate career, registering 139 hits, 88 RBIs, 21 doubles, and eight home runs.
The Orange, CA native finished her career with a .353 on base percentage and .394 slugging percentage.
In 2019, Sturdivant started all 54 games at first base and recorded 15 multi games, while finishing second on team in hits (56), RBIs (40) and doubles (11), earning her All-Southern Conference first team honors.
Apart from her coaching duties, Sturdivant will pursue a Master’s Degree in Business Administration while at Wagner.
