Dwan McMillan

Dwan McMillan begins his second season as a member of the Wagner men’s basketball staff as the Seahawks’ graduate manager.

McMillan arrived on Grymes Hill after serving in a similar capacity at Mercyhurst during the 2013-14 season, in which he helped lead the Lakers to a 17-12 overall record.  

McMillan played two seasons at Hofstra after transferring from nationally renowned Indian River Community College. In his first year in Hempstead, he helped the Pride to 21 wins, which included a school-record 14 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) victories. Additionally, Hofstra’s second place CAA finish was the best in school history and helped propel the team to a the 2011 College Basketball Invitational (CBI). As a senior in 2011-2012, he was second in the CAA in assists also earning CAA All-Academic First Team honors.

A 2012 graduate from Hofstra, McMillan earned his bachelor’s degree in liberal arts with a minor in physical education and will be pursuing his master’s degree at Wagner.

McMillan resides in Brooklyn with his wife Sheenie.
