Alexander Mortillaro

Alexander Mortillaro joined the Wagner College Men's Basketball staff as the program's Director of Basketball Operations in August, 2016.

In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities, Mortillaro will be pursuing a Master's Degree in Business Administration.

Mortillaro comes to Wagner after spending four seasons as a student-manager of the Villanova University men's basketball team. As a senior last season, he was named the Wildcats head student-manager for which he was responsible for leading a team of 11 student-managers in the daily preparation of practice and games. 

He created weekly-individualized practice schedules for all student managers while assisting in all team travel and laundry services for the program. 

Last season, Villanova won the 2016 NCAA National Championship in which Mortillaro assisted the Director of Basketball Operations with the development and implementation of the Wildcats NCAA Selection Sunday viewing party, the city-wide National Championship Parade and the end-of-season team banquet.  

A native of Simsbury, CT, Mortillaro will assist the Seahawk basketball program in the day-to-day operations while helping in practice evaluations, film breakdown and responsible for the team managers.
