2023 (Graduate Season): Appeared in all 18 games while making 18 starts. Scored two goals and tallied one assist. Sara scored the game-winning overtime goal at LIU on October 20.

2021 (Junior Season at Wagner): Started 18 while appearing in all 19 games this season. Recorded two goals and two assists on seven shots and 881 minutes played.

2020-21 (Sophomore Season at Wagner): Appeared in all six matches, starting in five of six of those contests... Recorded a season-high two shots at Merrimack (3/25).

2019 (Freshman Season at Hofstra): Played in four games... Saw action against Sacred Heart, Merrimack, James Madison and LIU.

Before Wagner | Hofstra: Prior to beginning her collegiate career, Nelson had a three-year varsity career for Haddon Township High School in Westmont, New Jersey… In her time at Haddon Township, she was a First Team All-Conference honors every season, while recording 26 goals and 19 assists… Named team MVP her senior season… Chose Wagner for the chance to continue growing both as a student and as an athlete and plans to major in Accounting… Daughter of Alicia and Ken Nelson… Has one sister, Emily (16).
