Following the Spring season, junior forward Agustina Deharbe earned First-Team All-NEC honors, while junior midfielder Julia Cruces Pastorino, sophomore defender Joy Muller and freshman goalkeeper Erin Franklin were all tabbed to the Second Team.

The Millersville, PA native arrived on Grymes Hill after a four-year standout career with the Hofstra Pride field hockey program.

Most recently, Warfel acted as a Volunteer Undergraduate Coach for the Pride from November until March of 2020. While an active member of the team, she primarily lined up in a midfield position, playing 70 games in her career, while starting a total of 57, which includes every game in her final three seasons. Named a team captain for her junior and senior seasons, she recorded a total of 11 goals and 12 assists for 34 points in her career.

In the classroom, Warfel was a four-time NFHCA National Academic Squad selection, as well as a four-time member of both the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll and the Hofstra Athletic Director’s Academic Honor Roll. She was also named to the Hofstra Provost’s List for achieving a 4.0 GPA three times, while being named to the Dean’s List for finishing with a GPA between 3.5 and 4.0 and additional five times.

During her final season, she was awarded the inaugural Jonel Boileau Memorial Character Award, which is given to the player that exemplifies the traits of distinguished leadership, an outstanding teammate, a proud example in the classroom and a caring friend.

Before joining the Pride, Warfel was a four-year varsity starter at Penn Manor High School from 2012 to 2015, where she was a two-time All-Lancaster Lebanon League selection and led her teams to four Section 1 championships, three Lancaster Lebanon League titles, a District 3 championship, and a Pennsylvania State Championship in 2014.

In addition to her coaching responsibilities at Wagner, Warfel will be pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
