Katerina Tsioles joins the Head Coach Aubrey Mytych's staff ahead of the Seahawks' 2025 season after a five-year playing career at Old Dominion from 2020 to 2024, hailing from the same alma mater as Mytych.
Throughout her five years at ODU, Tsioles appeared in 84 games, making 83 starts, scoring two goals, and adding 24 assists to her career totals. Tsioles concluded her graduate season with 13 assists, ranking her fifth in NCAA Division I in assists per game (0.72).
As a senior in 2023, she started all 20 games, tallying nine assists and scoring a game-winning goal to help ODU snap a 13-game losing streak to UConn on October 27, 2023, marking the program’s first win over the Huskies in ten years.
During the 2023 season, Tsioles and Mytych earned the Monarchs the Big East conference crown, while consistently being ranked in the top 20 nationally between 2021-2023.
Tsioles earned Second Team All-Big East honors twice in 2020-21 and 2021, and earned multiple NFHCA All-Academic selections.
