Caitlin Bennett completed her first season as a Wagner field hockey assistant coach in the Spring of 2021 after joining the Wagner athletics family in August of 2020.

The Fairfield, CT native came to Grymes Hill after serving as an Assistant Coach for University of Pennsylvania during the 2019 season, focusing primarily on working with the team’s goalkeepers.

Prior to her time with the Quakers, she spent the 2018 season as a volunteer assistant with the Sacred Heart Pioneers. During her stint at SHU, Bennett worked exclusively as the team's goalkeepers coach.

Before joining Sacred Heart, Bennett was a four-year starter in goal at Fairfield University from 2013 to 2016. She finished her collegiate career with the second-most wins in program history (32) and the third-most games played (71) and saves (377), while earning 2016 All-MAAC First Team honors and 2015 and 2016 All-MAAC Championship Team honors.

In addition to her coaching responsibilities at Wagner, Bennett will be pursuing a Master’s Degree in Media Management.
