2021 R-Sophomore Season
Made six appearances on the mound for the Seahawks in 2021… Went 0-2 with 4.50 ERA in five starts… Struck out 20 batters over 20.0 innings of work… Struck out a career-high seven batters on the road at Fairleigh Dickinson (Mar. 21)… Gave up two hits or less in five of his six outings… Was tough on right-handed batters, limiting them to just a .139 batting average (5 of 36) and with runners on, held opponents to just a .194 average (7 of 36)… Made four starts during Northeast Conference (NEC) play, going 0-1 with a 3.60 ERA.

Before Wagner: Attended Memorial High School in West New York, NJ where he was a four-year member of the Tigers baseball program while also a three-year member of the basketball program… A four-time Honor Roll selection, he was named to the National Honor Society…Graduated Memorial High School with a 3.5 GPA in addition to receiving the US Marines Athletic Excellence Award… On the diamond, helped lead the Tigers to the Hudson County Championship… His sophomore season, he went 2-1 with a 5.72 ERA in 14.2 innings of work… Struck out 17 batters that season while helping the team advance to the semifinals of the HCIAL… His junior season, he batted .338 with 27 hits, scored 21 runs and drove in 17 RBIs…. On the bump, he tossed 50.1 innings while striking out 77 batters and holding the opposition to a .174 batting average… He earned First Team All-County and Player of the Year honors as well as Most Valuable Player honors…The Tigers won the HCIAL County Championship as they defeated Ferris…. In his final season, he batted .319 with 23 RBIs while scoring 27 runs… On the hill, he pitched to a 2.33 ERA over 42.0 innings… Fanned 87 batters while limiting them to a .162 batting average… Son of Omar and Maria Casado…Has two siblings, Omarys and Omar Jr… Pursuing a degree in Finance at Wagner.
